Dr. Amr Nabil Helmy
Amr Helmy received the B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. He received his M.Sc. degree in micro and nano- electronics from the Grenoble Institute of technology and University of Joseph Fourier in 2006.
In 2006, He received a scholarship from the French ministry of research to pursue his PhD studies. He obtained a PhD degree in micro and nano-electronics in 2010 from Grenoble Institute of technology. During his PhD studies, he worked in the TIMA laboratory, Grenoble, France in the verification of digital systems group. From September 2009 till September 2010, he worked as a temporary attaché for teaching and research. Since September 2010, Dr. Helmy has joined Nile University as an Assistant Professor. His current research interests include low-power circuits, formal verification, on-chip networks, and design methodologies.
