Deadline for Applications for Spring 2012: February 16th, 2012

  • Full scholarships for research assistants positions and partial scholarships for master degrees students.


  • Early admission for Fall 2012 is open

Applicants admitted to NU are required to:

  • Hold an appropriate university degree preferably in a technology or business related discipline.
  • Have earned a minimum grade of (Good),GPA of 3.0 in their bachelors degree program.
  • Submit GMAT scores for the EMBA Program, GRE scores for all other programs.
Applications may be submitted electronically or in person.
Necessary documents must be submitted to the office as early as possible.
Applications without appropriate documents will not be considered.


Nile University is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2012 semester in the following programs:

- Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)

- Management of Technology (MOT)

- Communication and Information Technology (CIT):

-Microelectronics System Design (MSD)

Application Procedure

Materials may be submitted by mail or in person. Applications that are submitted by email cannot be processed until all required materials are submitted. (Scanned or electronic copies of all documents required should be submitted as attachments, except for the certified degrees and transcripts, which must be submitted as originals).

An acknowledgement will be sent to the email address indicated on page 1 of the application.

Applicants must meet the specified admission requirements to be eligible for admission to one of the Master programs offered by Nile University. However, meeting these requirements does not ensure acceptance. In order to be considered for admission, a prospective student must provide the following:

Application Fee

Applications that are completed and emailed cannot be processed until all application package components are submitted. A LE 200 application fee, which is non-refundable, must accompany the completed application form. The application fee can be either paid in cash or by money order to:

At this time, we are unable to accept payment for the application fee online or by credit card.

The application is self-explanatory and you are encouraged to complete all information carefully and correctly.

TOEFL, GRE & GMAT

Applicants are required to have taken the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam within the last two years, and earned a score of 61 or above in the IBT ( Internet-based TOEFL), a score of 500 or above in the ITP (Institutional Testing program TOEFL administered by AMIDEAST) plus 3/5 in the Amideast administered essay exam, a score of 6 or above in the IELTS administered by the British Council

When registering and taking your TOEFL exam, please indicate Nile University's institutional code, 1862. NU’s code for GRE is 1929. This way, official scores can be sent directly to NU's Admissions Office.

Personal Interview

After applications are reviewed by the Program Director, qualified applicants will be granted an interview. Interviews will help in assessing an applicant's qualifications and afford the applicant an opportunity to further discuss his/her credentials. Once an application is submitted and an interview granted by the Program Director, the applicant will be contacted by the Admissions Office to schedule the interview appointment.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for outstanding students, awarded by merit. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please download the scholarship form, fill it and send it back to admission@nileuniversity.edu.eg . Scholarship details will be discussed during the personal interview should you indicate your interest.

Tuition

Tuition is LE 3000 per credit hour

Tuition is paid per semester/trimester and is due on the registration deadline date (see calendar).
