On the occasion of honoring the generous donors contributing to the success of the University, NU hosted a Gala Dinner on April 9th, 2010, at the Cairo Opera House, featuring the outstanding composer and musician Omar Khairat. The University was honored by the attendance of well respected businessmen, artists and media representatives.

NU sincerely appreciates the strong support and donations given by British Petroleum (BP), Vodafone, Telecom Egypt, Mobinil, Al Noor Magrabi Foundation, Intel, Dr. Taher Helmy, Teletech, HSBC, Bank of Alexandria, Alfy Foundation, Alkan, Eng. Salah Diab, and the founders of the Egyptian Foundation for Technological Education and Development (EFTED), the NGO that initiated the Nile University project.
