Smart Village Campus
NU is
currently operating from its Smart Village Campus, consisting of 3
buildings at
the Smart Village.
Main Campus (Sheikh Zayed)
Nile University's main campus is located at El Sheikh Zayed
City, 20 minutes away from the Center of Cairo. It is designed in such a way to
provide the most appropriate scientific environment that supports a “research”
university. Phase one of the main campus will be operative in December 2009.
The 127 acres main campus
in Sheikh Zayed provides complete service facilities for
students and faculty as well as new technology start-ups and is divided as
follows:

The first
building is a 20,000 square meter state-of-the-art educational building comprising classrooms,
lecture halls, faculty
and graduate student offices, laboratories, library, cafeteria, fitness centre,
nursery, offices for administration, and a wide range of
administrative and services offices.
 
The second
building is a 20,000 square meter
state-of-the-art building housing the main auditorium, executive
education classrooms and lecture halls, offices for senior
administration, the university's network operations center (NOC) and
data center, student affairs and other administrative and services offices.
